Job Description
The Consumer ISV Business Development Manager will focus on the development and execution of a partnership strategy with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in various domains. This role involves generating a strong pipeline of partners, fostering relationships, and managing and growing the strategic and financial value of ISV partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, business insight, and robust relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an effective ISV partner strategy that aligns with the company's broader business goals. Identify potential ISVs that can significantly enhance our offerings HP consumer PCs and create new monetization opportunities.
Evaluate new opportunities with ISV partners, provide strategic direction, and secure buy-ins from various internal organizations.
Define and execute deals; negotiate large, multifaceted agreements.
Develop and nurture relationships with ISV partners. Collaborate closely with partners to enhance the strategic and financial value of each partnership. Identify opportunities for joint initiatives, co-marketing, product integrations, and more. Need to maintain executive-level contacts with key partners.
Coordinate closely with internal teams (e.g. product, engineering, marketing, ops, legal) to ensure partnerships are effectively utilized across the organization.
Create potential growth opportunities in new verticals by conducting thorough market research and analysis and developing initial use cases for consumer PC users and partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 10+ years of professional business development, partnership, or other related experiences in technology sectors.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Being able to quickly learn and develop understandings in various sectors.
Distinctive problem-solving and data-driven analysis skills, combined with sound business judgement.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Strong negotiation and deal-making skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is 157, 550.00 - 228,447.000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
