You would help provide a business partnering, sales management and product training, to a specific customer base within the major retail and trade merchant sector and ad hoc training across the wider customer base when required, in order to achieve sales targets and objectives set out by channel heads. To work closely with our partners to ensure CDA delivers ‘best in class’ business partnership relationship, in order to achieve sales growth targets and objectives. The role is to deliver this in-line with the company vision, purpose and beliefs. The role is territory based and will based within the field 4.5days, whilst working your own territory you will work alongside a team of other Business Development Managers and the wider teams across the business to all work towards to main company vision. Area of role The Business Development Manager is a Field based role, splitting your time between a defined geographical area as well as at our head office based in Langar, Nottinghamshire. There are potentially 2 areas being recruited for: Area 1: West – encompassing West of the UK including West Midlands, Wales, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, South West. The candidate ideally needs to be located in one the defined postcodes areas of B, DY, WR, WV, WS. Area 2: East – encompassing East of the UK including East Midlands, East Anglia, Home Counties, London, Hampshire. The candidate ideally needs to be located in one the defined postcodes areas of LU, SG, AL, HP, MK. Who we are looking for We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional levels of service and care, someone that will put our customers at the heart of everything. You would build strong relationships gaining respect and trust along with dealing with potential conflict to find ‘win win’ solutions to ensure ‘best in class’ service. You’ll need a friendly personality and have good verbal and written communication skills. You’ll need to be IT literate as we use the latest software tools to deliver the best service. What you will get in return £28,000 annual salary with potential to earn 25% of annual bonus and company car, after successful completion of a probation and training period.
