Position Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for working with Sales Professionals to ensure that sales processes are followed according to Rausch Coleman policies, model & spec homes are ready for showing, and communities are well maintained at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Division Sales Manager
  • Maintain territorial sales quotas by implementing strategies assigned by the Division Sales Manager and Division President
  • Successfully implements training, developing and accountability standards alongside the Division Sales Manager
  • Interacts as required with other division office personnel and staff
  • Review prospects of each sales professional within their territory weekly and the status of each prospect regarding the RC Flywheel
  • Review Next CRM usage, train and follow up as needed
  • Review each model home weekly during community meetings
  • Review RC Website, Zillow, MLS with sales professionals to ensure accuracy of information
  • Attend and assist in interviewing, hiring and training top qualified talent within respective territory
  • Aid with the on boarding of new Sales Professionals
  • Attend all required Division Meetings
  • Expected to maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week and to be available during all model open hours
  • Responsible for territory marketing, closings, signage, events and any other managerial functions required for community growth
  • Responsible for delivering and executing all new marketing rollouts
  • Expected to attend a minimum of 2 Realtor Presentations per month within territory
  • Ensure all communities within territory are properly staffed and fully covered during all open hours of operation
  • Other duties as required
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of management experience
  • At least two years of New Home Sales Management Experience
  • Experience as a successful New Home Sales Professional
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must have excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize
  • Must be a servant leader

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of MLS, Websites, Sales Management software
  • Knowledge of IHMS, Translator
  • Consistently meets or exceeds sales and personal goals

Physical Demands

  • Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and frequently moving small objects
  • Frequently sitting for long periods of time
  • Walking or standing occasionally
  • Must have manual use of hands and vision to use a computer, iPad, or handheld device
