Sales Representative
Baton Rouge, LA
**in-office, non-remote**
A rapidly growing Financial Planning Firm is seeking a Sales Representative to provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of all prospective client communication using multiple marketing channels.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all inbound and outbound call volume, with the goal of setting appointments for advisors.
- Ability to be on the phone 60-70% of the day.
- Promote referrals through client interaction.
- Manage and coordinate internal advisors' calendars with clients and potential clients.
- Ensure prospective client information is entered into the CRM.
- Track, asses, and report the status of business metrics.
- Identify local networking opportunities.
- Provide marketing communication by working with third-party companies to initiate lead generation programs, support material, and marketing campaigns.
- Promote, plan, and attend referral and prospecting events.
- Perform post-event follow-up activities with attendees and schedule appointments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a financial group desired.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Ability to market to existing and potential clients in person and by telephone.
- Persistent with an entrepreneurial viewpoint to build a client base.
- Effective time management.
- Ability to be on the phone 60-70% of the day.
- Ambitious with a sense of urgency and initiative.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
