Sales Representative

Baton Rouge, LA

**in-office, non-remote**

A rapidly growing Financial Planning Firm is seeking a Sales Representative to provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of all prospective client communication using multiple marketing channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inbound and outbound call volume, with the goal of setting appointments for advisors.
  • Ability to be on the phone 60-70% of the day.
  • Promote referrals through client interaction.
  • Manage and coordinate internal advisors' calendars with clients and potential clients.
  • Ensure prospective client information is entered into the CRM.
  • Track, asses, and report the status of business metrics.
  • Identify local networking opportunities.
  • Provide marketing communication by working with third-party companies to initiate lead generation programs, support material, and marketing campaigns.
  • Promote, plan, and attend referral and prospecting events.
  • Perform post-event follow-up activities with attendees and schedule appointments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a financial group desired.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Ability to market to existing and potential clients in person and by telephone.
  • Persistent with an entrepreneurial viewpoint to build a client base.
  • Effective time management.
  • Ability to be on the phone 60-70% of the day.
  • Ambitious with a sense of urgency and initiative.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
