Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring efficient deployment and integration of applications. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, continuous integration, and automation tools to enhance our software development lifecycle.

Duties

  • Collaborate with software developers and system operators to oversee code releases.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Automate processes using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal operation.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Docker and cloud services.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of applications in a SaaS environment.
  • Work with programming languages such as Python and C++ to enhance system functionality.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for production support.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Docker.
  • Knowledge of programming languages including Ruby on Rails, Python, and C++.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS application development and deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in DevOps or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $120,000.00-$160,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • DevOps: 5 years (preferred)
