About the Role: We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of detailed business requirements for approved changes and IT projects.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with the user community
- Develop and document processes, use cases, etc. to demonstrate requirements
- Communicate functional and non-functional requirements to the solution architect
- Partner with solution architect to ensure initial alignment between business requirements and IT solution design concepts, including supporting feasibility studies as appropriate
- Partner with Quality to ensure test plans are developed and executed in alignment with internal standards and external compliance requirements
- Ensure Acceptance Testing confirms test results meet documented business needs
- Partner with the User Experience and Transition Communities of Practice to ensure training plans and materials support overall business requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in business, IT, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in this field or related field
- Experience with: Microsoft Office 365 Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote; Microsoft Office 365 Services: Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint; Microsoft Project, Visio, Mind Manager, Jira
- Experience in contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and leveraging quality improvement methodologies and IT governance processes
- Experience in Audit/Regulatory Domains
- Must fluently speak and write in the English language with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems, with the ability to understand how the change to a component affects the system as a whole
- Ability to be engage with both technical and non-technical partners and stakeholders across multiple time zones and cultures
- Ability to facilitate meetings/group interactions and negotiate outcomes, including effectively resolving conflict
- Ability to travel 5%
Desired Qualifications:
- CCBA or CBAP Certification
- Experience working with Business Analysis Methods, Tools, and Techniques, particularly those contained in the IIBA Business Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK) – e.g. business cases, use cases, modeling (UML, BPMN, etc.), risk analysis, etc
- Experience working with Computer System Validation, Software Quality Assurance, Testing Methodologies,and SDLC Processes
