A global industrial machine supplier is in need of a /// Hybrid /// Japanese / English Inside Sales Representative to join their team in the northern suburbs of Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities of Hybrid Japanese/English Inside Sales Representative:

· Data entry/input orders for customers

· Answer customer and supplier questions in a timely manner

· Maintain vendor and customer accounts ensuring timely payment of invoices

· Track and maintain inventory levels

· Enter order info and accounting transactions in company’s MRP system

· Coordinate with supply chain side and track purchasing and shipping records

· Assist sales representatives as needed

· Handle credit reference requests

· Mail monthly statements

Qualifications of Hybrid Japanese/English Inside Sales Representative:

· Bilingual in Japanese and English

· Prefer relevant insides sales or administrative experience

· Prefer customer service experience

· Experience with purchase orders and inventory control

· Microsoft Office Suites and Excel

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and to report to the parent company in Japan

· Strong communication skills in Japanese and English

· Ability to go on one-day business travels (less than 10%)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
