Job Description

The Strategic Performance Advisor works closely with all levels of RealPage customer personnel to understand current operations and recommend strategies to improve adoption of the RealPage platform and increase multifamily asset yield. The Strategic Performance Advisor utilizes RealPage’s proprietary industry quintile benchmarking platform to understand customer goals and strategies, demonstrate where customers have performance improvement opportunities, and then advise customers on how to achieve those goals and strategies through adoption and utilization of RealPage solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with customer executive level management, including with some of RealPage’s most strategic customers.
  • Act as business advisor to customer using the RealPage platform to meet specific business objectives.
  • Facilitate discovery discussions with customers regarding revenue and expense goals and related business operations.
  • Review data in data analytics platform to cultivate insights into portfolio and site performance, then analyze information to present customer business reviews to customers to improve performance and increase asset value.
  • Connect asset performance to value of RealPage products and services to drive adoption.
  • Work with customers identified as being at-risk, helping them to overcome challenges with their utilization of RealPage solutions.
  • Meet with Customer Success Manager(s), Sales, and other internal team members to prepare for reviews and then to follow-up on key insights and findings to ensure action is taken on identified adoption and training opportunities.
  • Work closely with Customer Success Manager(s), Sales, and Product Management teams to identify expansion opportunities aligned with STARS data and asset performance.
  • Serve as internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multifamily industry and quintile benchmarking platform to assist Customer Success and Sales team members with executive business reviews, platform solution reviews, and/or sales discussions.
  • Serve as internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on RealPage products and platforms.
  • Leverage customer feedback with internal departments to provide decision support for business improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize and provide feedback on best practices related to CRM tools in order track customer activities effectively and accurately.
  • Participate in RealPage, industry, and customer events.
  • Mentor and train other Strategic Performance Advisors

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in the multi-family industry, including client-side experience at the corporate or regional level
  • Minimum 5 years experience with RealPage products and services
  • Project Management Experience
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Demonstrated data analytics experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills
  • Experience presenting to executives; feel comfortable leading presentations to executive level customers
  • Can tie asset performance and business problems to technical solutions and understand technology and data value propositions
  • Partner with customers to understand their current and future business goals and challenges and translate that into people, product, and process strategies
  • Understanding of business/multifamily operations and reporting
  • Experience in manipulating and creating reports to analyze business performance and outcomes
  • Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally with customers, to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including management, executives, and others
  • Experience managing several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail, documentation and follow-up capabilities, as well as the ability to understand and manage customer expectations.
  • Physically able to participate virtually or in-person training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed (may be required at times)
  • Ability to travel as needed to customer and company locations.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
