The Role:
The Channel Account Executive will lead the strategic development of new business relationships to generate sales opportunities. Responsibilities will include researching competing products, identifying opportunities to increase sales, and assisting in the development and execution of sales and marketing plans.
As the subject matter expert for Fabric Images, Inc ® commercial interiors the Channel Account Executive will drive the development and deployment of programs that generate demand and revenue for the brand. This role partners heavily with sales leaders representing Dealer, A&D, National Accounts, Global Accounts, and Government channels to collaboratively develop programs to support the sales process to generate a highly optimized conversion funnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and yearly sales quotas.
- Canvassing assigned territories to present company products to potential customers.
- Demonstrating product features to contract commercial furniture dealers and the design community.
- Attend trade shows and other industry-related events.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals for potential buyers.
- Ensure the adequacy of sales-related marketing collateral, finish samples and associated sales materials for our sales partners.
- Track sales and outreach activities weekly. Fully utilize the capabilities of our CRM program to identify, track, and distribute leads to best advantage.
- Monitor dealer’s sales progress to identify any short-comings and propose improvements.
- Create strategies to expand the company’s current market position to increase brand awareness and position Fi a new leader in commercial furniture.
- Coordinate dealer and factory/HQ showroom tours, conduct presentations, and product demonstrations, as appropriate.
Details About the Role:
- Work with Dealers and the A & D community to increase sales and improve brand awareness in the assigned geographic territory.
- Identify key targets by territory/vertical market focus, to recruit new partners and help grow revenue.
- Execute a sales plan that includes specific strategies to increase sales through the Dealer network.
- Be a brand ambassador. Actively engage in local trade associations such as AIA (The American Institute of Architects) and IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and vertical market events and associations to include regional chapter events. Participate as needed in national trade shows and events.
- Independently promote brand and product capabilities.
- Achieve all KPIs established: Sales vs Forecasted Sales, Opportunities, Close-Ratio, Customer Retention, New Business Development, Presentations, Social Media participation, Brand Awareness through Market Response
Requirements:
- Associate or 4-Year Degree Desired or 5-years of experience in this field.
- Proven winning sales experience.
- Sound consultative selling skills
- Excellent networking and negotiation skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience in working with the A&D community is highly desired
- This role requires discretion, creative thinking, and independent judgment.
Skills:
- Documented ability to train/mentor sales teams. Set sales performance benchmarks and manage to expectations on a regular basis. Implement initiatives as needed
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritize and focus to meet critical deadlines
- Heavy reliance on verbal and written communication is essential for success. Strong presentation skills and the ability to collaborate for effective team selling.
- Ability to transfer knowledge for sales growth and market penetration with the effective use of sales and marketing tools.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office Word/Power Point, Microsoft Suite of tools. A strong working understanding of EXCEL is necessary. Knowledge of CAD including Revit®, AutoCAD® and SketchUp are desirable.
- Experience in the coordination application and management of CRM essential.
- Ability to analyze data for the effective quantification of leads and project opportunities. Effectively identify trends to assist in growth projections/expectations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
