Sales Operations Assistant

Job Summary:

The Sales Operations Assistant will play a supportive role within the sales operations team. They will assist the Sales Operations Coordinator in managing the CRM system, aid in the sales reporting, and help coordinate the proposal process. This position is crucial for increasing our capacity to generate and follow up on proposals, ensuring the data integrity, and supporting the overall efficiency of the sales operation. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Support: Assist in maintaining the CRM database, including data entry, cleanup, and basic management tasks to ensure the system’s accuracy and usability.
  • Proposal Preparation Support: Help in the preparation and follow-up of proposals by gathering necessary information, formatting documents, and tracking proposal statuses.
  • Reporting Assistance: Support the creation of sales reports and dashboards by compiling data, creating basic reports, and organizing information for analysis.
  • Process Support: Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements, documenting procedures, and maintaining sales operation guidelines.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties that support the sales operations functions, such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role preferably within sales or marketing
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Renewable energy industry experience a bonus

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience plus 10% bonus potential based on company metrics and achieving sales goals.
