About The Role:
Ellie Diagnostics is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Product Specialist to join our team. The Product Specialist will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and designing efficient systems and workflows. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and business acumen to support, promote and enhance the LIS, Nova and the Nova Specialty Module (NSM) with organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
Product Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of the Laboratory Information System (LIS) our diagnostic platform Nova, and the NSM, including features, functionalities, and capabilities.
Stay updated with the latest advancements, updates, and releases pertaining to each product.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal teams and external stakeholders regarding the LIS (LabDaq), Nova, and the NSM.

Customer Support and Training:
Provide comprehensive support to customers regarding product inquiries, issues, and troubleshooting for the LIS, Nova, and the NSM.
Conduct product training sessions for clients, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of how to utilize the products effectively.
Address customer feedback and concerns, working closely with the development team to implement necessary improvements and enhancements.

Sales Enablement:
Collaborate with the sales team to support product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals for prospective clients.
Assist in identifying and qualifying leads by leveraging product knowledge to understand client needs and requirements.
Provide sales team with product-related materials, documentation, and resources to facilitate the sales process.

Product Development Support:
Act as a liaison between customers and the product development team, conveying customer feedback, feature requests, and enhancement suggestions.
Participate in product development meetings to provide insights, requirements, and feedback based on customer interactions and market trends.
Assist in the testing and validation of new features and functionalities before they are rolled out to customers.

Documentation and Collateral Creation:
Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, manuals, and FAQs, for the LIS, Nova, and the NSM.
Develop marketing collateral such as case studies, whitepapers, and product brochures to effectively communicate the value propositions and benefits of each product.
Ensure that all product-related materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company branding and messaging.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, customer success, and engineering to ensure alignment on product strategy, messaging, and customer experience.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving product offerings, customer satisfaction, and overall business success.
Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture by sharing knowledge, best practices, and insights with team members.

Market Analysis and Competitor Research:
Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the healthcare software industry.
Monitor competitor products and strategies, providing insights and recommendations to maintain a competitive edge for the LIS, Nova, and the Specialty Module.
Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry standards that may impact product development and market positioning.

Continuous Learning and Development:
Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth and development, including attending training sessions, workshops, and industry conferences.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices relevant to healthcare software and product management.
Share acquired knowledge and skills with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the organization.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a product specialist, business/system analyst, or related role.

Strong business acumen to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various team members at all levels.

Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and familiarity with SDLC processes.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
