Development Plan, Responsibilities, and Duties:
Invest in your development by learning about our products, business, industry, customers, vendors, etc., to develop a long-term successful career in our sales supply business.
Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics – You will learn the products we sell and how they get from the vendor to the customer. You will actively participate in the warehouse logistics role to understand and provide sales support.
Phase 2 – Operations – You will actively get involved and learn our front-line customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more…
Phase 3 – Inside Sales/Project Management – Over time you will go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing large-scale, time-sensitive projects.
Phase 4 – Outside Sales/Account Management – You will learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.
Phase 5 – In this phase, you can take all of your training and determine your ideal career path.
Your development plan will be tailored to your individual capabilities and pace.
Requirements:
- University or College graduate
- Valid Canadian Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
- Must possess excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Mechanical/Technical knowledge/experience/aptitude is considered an asset
- Team Player
- Self-driven and work well with minimal supervision, meaning you take initiative to acquire knowledge to do what needs to be done for the customer and business even if it is outside your job description
- You are curious in nature; you take the time to ask questions and understand why something is done the way it is.
