Job Description
Position Summary:
The Laborer is responsible for supporting oilfield operations through labor-intensive activities to include, but not limited to digging, general groundwork, and jobsite maintenance. The incumbent operates both hand and power tools while supporting construction site operations.
Per Diem: $35 - $70 per day ($210 - $420 per week)
Schedule: 4 weeks ON 2 weeks OFF
- 60 hours per week (opportunity for more)
- 36 weeks ON and 17 weeks OFF (22% MORE TIME OFF!)

Essential Job Functions:
- Acts as confined space entry attendant.
- Secures and safely transports equipment according to company and DOT policies.
- Operates high pressure power washing equipment.
- Assists Journeyman Craft positions; structural, scaffold, carpentry and welding.
- Performs job site/office/facilities maintenance/clean-up.
- Conducts fire watch duty.
- Assists in the construction of temporary hoardings/structures.
- Assists with lifting scaffolding materials.
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in building, and oil & gas construction projects.
- Material handling and storage.
- Load and unload freight supplies, haul and hoist materials.
- Maintains a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the immediate Supervisor and HSE Supervisor.
- Attends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or Equivalent
- One (1) year construction experience; industrial industry preferred
- Current and valid driver’s license, with clean driving record

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledge and proper use of equipment, hand and power tools, materials and supplies.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Knowledge in metal, mechanics, or other labor crafts.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities with deadlines.
- Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing and in the English language.
- Maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
