Position Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative who is passionate about building lasting relationships and serving as a trusted resource when disaster strikes. In this role, you will connect SERVPRO with potential clients, ensuring that we are the first name they think of when emergency restoration services are needed. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position focuses on creating genuine connections, not pushing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Engage in daily communication with centers of influence (COIs) such as insurance agents, property managers, and business leaders, establishing rapport and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Client Engagement: Facilitate face-to-face meetings, attend networking events, and actively participate in social media engagement to expand SERVPRO's reach and visibility.
- Sales Strategy: Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team to set and exceed sales targets, develop new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement: Create and present Emergency Ready Profiles, emphasizing the importance of disaster preparedness.
- Professional Development: Participate in continuous learning and development through online training and hands-on experience.
- Customer Satisfaction: Manage and resolve any customer concerns, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all safety and risk management guidelines, both in the office and while traveling to meet clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service, with a proven track record of achieving growth and sales targets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with digital communication tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and connect with new contacts in challenging situations.
- Experience with professional sales or marketing associations is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check in accordance with applicable laws.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
