Regional Sales Manager- Midwest Region- Everlast

BASIC FUNCTION and RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate for the Everlast Advanced Composite Siding Regional Sales Manager will pursue new business opportunities with distributors and manage the current customer base within the Midwest territory that currently includes the states of Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, and Wisconsin.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

  • Reports to the Business Development Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 Years of B2B Sales and Marketing Experience (preferred specific fenestration or building products industry experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree Sales or Marketing -or- extensive industry experience
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Positive attitude, excellent organizational and communication skills.

Tasks and responsibilities of the position:

  • Estimated 75% of time is expected to be traveling within territory.
  • Proactively plan your own travel, make necessary arrangements, and communicate travel schedule with the organization on the company shared calendar.
  • Timely submittal of weekly and monthly sales reports that include follow up, clear next steps, and or execution plans.
  • Manage a team of territory sales representatives that report to you.
  • Be responsible for company property and finances.
  • Company property may include laptop, phone, product samples and cases.
  • Regional Sale Managers are expected to use their personal credit card for expenses and will be refunded on a weekly basis after submittal of proper expense and weekly report documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Look for ways to increase share of wallet by adding new distributors and contractors.
  • Communication with customers on a minimum monthly basis by ways of email, phone, and approximately quarterly in person visits.
  • Be the key contact between customer and internal resources to communicate and resolve issues.
  • Assist in the development of quarterly forecast and annual revenue budget for region.
  • Participate in conference calls and sales meetings.
  • Participate in industry tradeshows.
  • Responsible for contacting and developing relationships with prospects in the region with the goal of securing them as a CBP customer.
  • Keep CBP senior management informed of customer/prospect issues.
  • Report competitive information in the region back to sales organization.
  • Clear understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain relationship with internal functions at CBP
