Strategic Business Development
- Identify and establish relationships with decision-makers across target commercial construction sectors (e.g., general contractors, developers, architects).
- Develop and execute a business development plan to target high-potential markets and accounts.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging market opportunities in commercial masonry and construction.

Sales Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring regular movement of leads through the business development lifecycle.
- Track and report key pipeline metrics, including lead generation, client retention, and closing ratios.

Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, fostering client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site visits to strengthen client engagement and showcase our capabilities.
- Serve as the primary client contact for commercial masonry projects, addressing concerns and ensuring client needs are met.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and estimating teams to align sales initiatives with project delivery capabilities.
- Provide market feedback to internal teams to guide resource allocation and capability development based on demand.
- Annual Revenue Growth: Achieve an increase in annual revenue by securing new clients and expanding existing accounts.
- Lead Conversion Rate: Maintain at least a 30% conversion rate from bid to win.
- Pipeline Value: Build and manage a sales pipeline with a minimum projected value of [X times annual sales target].
- Client Retention: Achieve a minimum 70% retention rate for repeat clients through consistent relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or account management within the commercial construction industry, preferably within masonry or a related trade.
- Strong networking, communication, and client relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with client management software; familiarity with construction management software a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical and strategic, with an ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Highly organized, with strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Team player who collaborates effectively across departments.
- Adaptable and responsive to market changes and client needs.
