Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking a talented Construction Management Estimator to join our Hunt Construction group in Dallas, TX. Come join our growing Dallas Team where you will be accepted for your great communication skills and ability to contribute to our team!
+ Works with the Company estimating systems and processes.
+ Acquire basic level of understanding of estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.
+ Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact estimates.
+ Under supervision prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.
+ Performs duties with limited complexity under direct supervision, such as material take offs, compilation of historical data, etc.
+ Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
+ BA/BS and 2 years of relevant construction management estimating experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualification:
+ Experience in construction estimating in:
+ Sports Venues
+ Hospitality
+ Healthcare
+ Higher Education
+ 2 - 5 years of experience in the field of construction management.
+ Experience working for a large general contractor.
+ Proficiency in construction management software.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Strong mathematic aptitude.
+ Ability to work independently or within a team.
+ Offered rate of compensation Dallas, TX will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $61,063.44 to $112,967.37/annually.
