Job Overview:
Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for sales? Look no further! We're on the lookout for a Sales Representative to join our fast-paced consumer products development company. With a focus on highly sought-after products, we've built a strong presence in over a dozen stores across Virginia, and now, we're expanding our offerings to include a line of hemp products.

As our Sales Representative, you'll be instrumental in driving business growth by connecting with purchasing managers at headshops throughout Virginia. Your role will involve building relationships, presenting our line of legal hemp gummies and hemp salves, and securing new accounts. With reasonable goals in place, you'll have the opportunity to unlock a competitive salary of up to $112,000 within a reasonable timeframe. But wait, there's more! Duties:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential clients, including headshops and retailers, to introduce our line of hemp products and establish new business relationships.

Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling presentations to purchasing managers, highlighting the features, benefits, and selling points of our legal hemp gummies and hemp salves.

Negotiation and Deal Closure: Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with prospective clients to secure new accounts and drive sales revenue.

Account Management: Maintain regular communication and build strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to hemp products to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

Travel and Territory Management: Travel to various locations within Virginia as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and represent the company at industry events.

Sales Reporting and Goal Tracking: Keep accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts, to track progress towards sales targets and goals.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with internal teams, including the owner and other staff members, to coordinate order fulfillment, resolve customer issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Product Knowledge and Training: Continuously update and deepen your understanding of our product offerings, including new SKUs and upcoming releases, and provide training and support to clients as needed.

Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from clients and market insights to provide input on product development, marketing strategies, and sales tactics, contributing to continuous improvement and growth within the company.

Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures: Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales and business activities.

By fulfilling these duties effectively, the Sales Representative will play a vital role in driving business growth, expanding our market presence, and achieving sales targets within the hemp industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24,960.00 - $112,500.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
