END USER SALES MANAGER
Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions is seeking someone to join our Sales Team, who under the direction of the Director of Sales, is to generate sales of Jorgensen's complete range of product solutions to end users across all segments of metal working, manufacturing, machine tool dealers, machine tool re-builders, machine tool integrators and industrial distributors.re-sellers in the North American marketplace. The role includes direct Territory and Independent Representative Management responsibilities. The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Director of Sales to determine and formulate sales objective and territory development to achieve maximum sales volume and profitable operations
  • Assess the performance of the independent sales representative against specific performance measures
  • Manage the external sales representative organizations and/or Jorgensen Sales Engineers, spending 60% to 70% of time in the field making sales calls, training, and helping reps to target
  • Re-define field sales territories to align best with density of customer prospects and re-assign reps to new territories as needed
  • Review actual individual sales rep performance against goals
  • Support the ongoing needs of reps by being a liaison between them and the company.
  • Organize and conduct sales meetings with reps as needed
  • Act as a Direct Sales Representative for open territories as assigned
  • Investigate and remain current in market trends, pricing, and new products
  • Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure continuous on-going improvement of products, processes, productivity, and quality, while reducing costs.
  • Identify, support and participate in developing the company exhibit and travel to trade shows to represent the company.
Skills and Requirements
  • Demonstrated team player that will embrace our Core Values
  • Proven work experience as a successful Sales Manager
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to understand an analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills and ability to close sales favorably
  • Excellent communication, team management, and relationship skills
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Bachelors Degree and at least 3-5 years of related experience or Associates Degree or two year college and at least 6-8 years of related experience or combination or education and experience
  • Knowledge of machining, machine tool industry, and manufacturing required. Direct experience in machining, machine tool industry preferred.
