The Junior Manufacturing Engineer role is located in Georgetown, KY.

The Ideal candidate will be a graduate from one of the following programs: Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Analytics that has exposure to utilizing PowerBI and understand at least one scripting language. Experience working in a manufacturing setting will be highly valued.

Junior Manufacturing Engineer Description of Duties:
- Engage with management and engineers to develop data-driven applications to improve efficiency, reduce cost and add value to the department
- Develop applications using tools such as Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint, and QuickBase based on requirements from the Production Engineering Team Members
- Create visually simple reports from complex datasets
- Manage and report data to stakeholders frequently to support business decisions & kaizen.
- Develop visual tools to improve operating budget tracking & reporting
- Become the subject matter expert & trainer within the department for the use of SAP/Ariba to manage capital and operational spending
- Responsible for Microsoft Teams Live events & department communications
- SharePoint site development & maintenance
- Be the business technology leader in the department and assist team members to work with Toyota's Information Technology and Digital Engineering departments
- Department software license management
Junior Manufacturing Engineer Ideal Qualifications:
- Minimal Associates Degree (prefer business analyst, computer science, engineering)
- Passion for data, analysis, and problem solving
- Experience creating data applications using citizen development tools (Power BI, SQL, SharePoint, etc.)
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, and team player
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, sheet joining)
- Experience with at least one programming language (XML, Python, R, Java, C++)
