T&D Materials Manufacturing, a leading supplier of refractory metals, is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our high-quality refractory metals through effective communication via phone and email. This business development position requires cultivating robust client relationships, identifying growth opportunities within existing customer accounts, and actively prospecting for new clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prospect Development: Utilize research, phone outreach, emails, and inbound leads to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
· Relationship Management: Develop and sustain positive relationships with decision-makers and purchasing agents within assigned accounts.
· Market Engagement: Conduct thorough account research, identify key players, and generate interest in T&D products and capabilities.
· Customer Understanding: Gain insight into customer needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions.
· Quote Response: Source and respond promptly to customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
· Sales Closure: Maintain regular communication with customers on open quotes, guiding the process to successful closures.
· Sales Targets: Close sales deals consistently to meet or exceed monthly quotas.
· Pipeline Management: Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
· CRM Management: Ensure accuracy and currency of CRM data for customers, prospects, and deals.
· Documentation: Maintain precise reporting, records, and files essential for effective territory management.
· Industry Engagement: Attend relevant industry trade shows, contributing to market awareness and networking.
Qualifications:
· Sales Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales.
· Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with effective presentation abilities.
· Relationship Building: Comfortable establishing and nurturing relationships across all organizational levels.
· Results-Oriented: Consistent track record of goal-setting and achievement.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet research.
· Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, including multitasking, effective task prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
· Attention to Detail: Consistent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
Other Details:
· Work Arrangement: Full-time, in-office position at our Clifton Heights, PA location.
· Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
· Compensation: A competitive mix of base salary ($35,000) and commission. Expected first-year On Target Earnings (OTE) around $65,000.
