Job Description
- Identify and develop new customers. Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers, providing exceptional customer service to ensure their satisfaction.
- Identify new projects. Convert opportunities into business awarded by obtaining purchase orders and long-term supply agreements.
- Develop and maintain sales funnel (customers, projects).
- Provide regular project updates to customers.
- Obtain, manage, and communicate customer requirements, changes, and inquiries to Creed Monarch's appropriate departments.
- Annual business planning: setting of sales revenue and profitability goals, forecasting, customers and projects funnel, sales budget (expenses).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Regular reporting: prepare and present sales revenue and profitability reports, including actual and potential sales, areas of proposed customer base expansion, and customer highlights.
- Attend industry events and exhibitions to represent the company, generate new leads, and stay on top of industry trends and competition.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a sales account management role within the CNC machining manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read industrial drawings and understand other technical documentation (material data sheets, manufacturing routings, material treatment process requirements.).
- Ability to perform financial analysis: costs, profitability, price development, ROI.
- Proven track record of successful sales and business development.
- Exceptional communication; tactful and professional at all levels in and outside the company.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience.
- Ability to identify and influence key stakeholders within customers, and navigate throughout companies’ departments and cross-functional teams, including our own company.
- Comfortable with cold calling.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, LinkedIn).
- Ability to travel by air and ground, approximately 50% of the time.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage time effectively.
- Sense of urgency and commitment to organizational success.
