JG Development, inc. is seeking an experienced, driven, and dependable Commercial Construction Sales Representative to join our team. This role will collaborate with our team, but their primary job function will be lead generation, initial qualification, and setting meetings with prospective clients with the goal of creating sales. An ideal candidate is experienced in commercial construction sales and has prior experience in Design/Build construction. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Identify and generate leads via cold calling, attending trade shows, and other means to qualify the leads that are converted into sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to identify new sales opportunities.
- Utilize our CRM system for scheduling and documentation.
- Have consistent and professional communication with leads, prospects, and clients.
- Collaborate with our internal team.
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Prepare proposals and other documentation required for presentations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and QUALIFCATIONS NEEDED:
- Generate leads via cold-calling, networking, attending trade shows and any other means to qualify the leads that are converted into sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adjust communication style appropriately to meet the needs of the customer
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to target high quality prospects through a qualification process
- Comfort and familiarity with C-suite clients
- Ability to work some evening events
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to plan and coordinate work independently balancing multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated computer and software skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, databases, and social media platforms
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance is required; with the ability to travel within Wisconsin and other states as necessary
- Successful completion of background check
