Compensation and Benefits:

  • $90,000 - $180,000 a year - Full-time / Part-time.
  • Top producers earned over $300k.
  • Make an average of $2K-$10K+ per deal.
  • No income cap on sales.
  • Enjoy 1099 independence and earn 100% commission.
  • Our representatives receive training on lead generation techniques, such as direct sales, door-to-door outreach, referral marketing, online sales, community events, social media promotion, and trade fairs/home exhibitions.

Job Description:

We're looking for an ambitious and results-oriented Clean Energy Business Development Manager to expand our team. This pivotal role entails identifying, developing, and securing new business prospects within the commercial and retail landscapes. The ideal candidate is someone with a fervent passion for sustainability, a comprehensive understanding of clean energy solutions, and a successful track record in sales and business development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage with commercial and retail businesses that could benefit from transitioning to clean energy solutions.
  • Forge and sustain strong relationships with prospective and current clients, tailoring clean energy solutions to their specific needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initiating contact to deal closure and providing post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to guarantee smooth and effective implementation of clean energy projects for clients.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Represent SOLR - The Future is Clean at trade shows, conferences, and other relevant events to promote our clean energy solutions.
  • Work in tandem with the marketing and product development teams to craft compelling sales materials and innovative product offerings.

Job Requirements:

  • Three years of sales experience.
  • Proven track record of sales and lead generation experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development, with a preference for backgrounds in clean energy, renewable energy, or sustainability sectors.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and close deals effectively.
  • Self-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to drive to travel to and from customer locations. (Mostly virtual)
  • Ability to get into and out of a vehicle multiple times per day.
  • May stand for an extended period while consulting with customers.
