National Accounts Business Development Manager – EAC
Location: Contiguous US (Should be living within a commutable distance from a major airport)

The National Accounts Business Development Manager - EAC is a high-visibility sales and business development position focused on various National Account Vertical Markets, to include retail, hospitality, commercial real estate, multi-family and off-campus student housing, data centers, finance/banking, and other markets as applicable. This is a field position, and works in tight coordination with end-users, channel partners, Door Security Solutions offices, and design professionals. National Account Programs are extensive, multi-faceted sales cycles that include relationship building with C-level personnel nationwide. You will be interacting with leaders in various functions including procurement/sourcing, design & construction, facilities, corporate safety & security, and loss prevention/asset protection. This role further requires close coordination with internal leaders throughout the organization who may be key in delivering any of the product/brand/service solutions to the various National Account end user and channel partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Participation in business development and relationship management activities with EM/EAC and legacy National Account Channel Partners, their sales team(s), and ASSA ABLOY operating companies to help identify, manage, and close opportunities to create year-over-year revenue growth for national EM/EAC programs/solutions.
  • Create demand with mature selling techniques, effective lead management, and project tracking. Act as liaison for National Account Channel Partners, DSS/DAS Integrated Security Solutions sales teams and other teams within ASSA ABLOY business units as needed.
  • Develop and manage relationships within the EAC marketplace to grow B2B opportunities with EAC partners i.e. security integrators with National Accounts Programs).
  • Translate customer feedback into meaningful and effective presentations, marketing materials and collateral. Manage specification consultant resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with ASSA ABLOY Groups for cross-selling and budget sharing in applicable joint marketing/trade show activities.
  • Support legacy National Account programs and customer base as required.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in the hardware and/or security industry or other related industry selling products and systems solutions services to corporate level decision-makers.
  • Ability to leverage resources within a large corporate sales environment; often and effectively collaborating with members across various divisions and levels.
  • Desire to understand an ever-changing market; continuously research innovative products and other relevant market offerings.
  • Must be a self-starter that excels in both, individual and team selling situations.
  • Strong selling and relationship building skills with impeccable follow-up.
  • Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills.
  • Capable of prioritizing numerous and simultaneous projects and clients in an efficient, productive manner.
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop interactive and compelling presentations.
  • Regularly attend industry events and internal training.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Ability to speak fluently about product solutions that support sustainable and green built environments such as: LEED, Living Building Challenge, HPD, EPD, and GREENGUARD strongly desired.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of sample and display material for sale presentations.
