HRG, Inc. has an opening for a Inside Sales Representative for our client, a supplier of high-performance welding products, services and solutions that professional fabricators, and welding and manufacturing engineers use to improve operations, reduce costs and ensure quality.
We are looking for a full time, motivated inside sales representative to join our team and help us build the best welding supply company in the world.
Scope of Position:
The scope of this position is to grow our customer base through outreach and deliver world-class service to our existing customers to ensure that the customer experience is positive and memorable.
Researching the market to identify new prospective customers, contact and build relationships with these prospects, provide quotations, and close sales.
Follow up on past and present customers to assess buying and product experience and re-sell/up-sell additional products.
Provide superior customer service over email and through phone communication, to enhance customer experience and generate sales.
Provide sales support, including entering customer orders, checking stock and
following up with customers regarding the status of their orders.
Respond to customer inquiries via email and telephone.
Through on-line presence, reading and customer interface, learn product offerings
and industry markets.
Includes some technical writing to grow our FAQ section.
Provide suggestions to improve website content and eBay store content.
Preferred Experience:
Two to four years of Inside Sales and Customer Service experience in a detail oriented, technical environment.
Computer proficiency with database programs, Microsoft Office and related applications.
Technical writing experience.
Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to prospect, quote and close sales via phone and e-mail.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and lasting relationships with new customers.
Excellent communication—both written and verbal—and the enthusiasm to initiate
telephone calls and other written communication to prospective customers.
Must be efficient, self-directed and motivated to achieve results and accomplish tasks with a high degree of personal pride.
Demonstrated ability to research issues, provide information and respond to inquiries in a professional and proactive style.
Strong organizational skill and ability to perform functions with a high attention to detail and service.
Candidate should be internet savvy, some HTML desirable.
