Job Description
This position serves the church by providing media support for the WOL Kids and Nxtgen Ministries during weekend services and some Wednesday or Thursday night services. Responsibilities include providing technical support including, but not limited to, set up, tear down, operation of audio, lighting, video, and projection systems; operating Pro-Presenter; and overseeing and training adult and student servant leaders who wouldpartner and provide technical support for all worship services.This is a part time position, at 20 hours per week.
- High School graduate or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of applicable experience
- Candidate must have a working knowledge of audio, video and lighting systems; Mac OS; Pro-Presenter; audio-visual and stage equipment;
- Ability to recruit, lead, train and supervise volunteers (sometimes requiring communication with parents of volunteer- minors)
- Adobe CS Suite experience is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Basic Administrative and Organization skills required
- Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all kinds of people
- Able to work flexible hours, be available on evenings and weekends as programs require
- Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3
- Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ, and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ
- Be personally committed to the ideals, values, and mission of WOL
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential information; refraining from gossip
- Ability to resolve issues according to Matthew 18
- Be/become a Member at Water of Life and regularly attend its weekend services
- Satisfactory background check
