Macon Communications is looking for a highly motivated Account Representative to join our team in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, problem solver, and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities by providing exceptional customer service to our existing customers
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by prospecting potential new customers to develop business relationships, provide products and solutions, and educate them on the best products and solutions
  • Follow up on leads and follow up on accounts to ensure they are satisfied with the services we provide
  • Maintain current accounts by reporting on sales results, product information, product features, and technical support as needed
  • Identify new business opportunities by prospecting potential customers to develop long-term client relationships
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets by the schedule established by the company

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales required. Outside Sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills required. Written and verbal skills required. Customer service experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
