Lionheart Distributing is a Winnebago, IL-based company distributing products to locations throughout the region such as grocery stores, c-stores, tobacco shops, liquor stores, and restaurants. The company currently sells and distributes Utz Brand potato chip and pretzel products. Brands distributed include: Utz, Vitners, Zapps, On the Border, Golden Flake, Good Health, Boulder Canyon and Tortiyahs.

Route Number: 8358

Status: Part-Time

Locations Serviced: Roscoe, Rockton, South Beloit, Machesney Park, Loves Park, N.E. Rockford



The position requires an entrepreneurial spirit to maximize sales and drive market share by selling a full line of quality snack food products to current and potential customers within an assigned route. The Route Sales Professional (RSP) will visit customers regularly to sell and perform sales and service-related activities. The RSP will engage store decision-makers when necessary and offer recommendations to increase ROI by displaying a full line of products. The RSP's ability to determine on-site product inventory versus sales/purchase quantities is necessary to maintain adequate product presence and freshness. The RSP should be able to upsell and introduce new products as appropriate to new and current customers. The RSP should be comfortable identifying existing opportunities and new in-store product locations to increase product visibility and motivate customers toward additional product purchases. The RSP will solicit, process, and instantly fulfill product orders associated with his or her sales by building professional and lasting relationships with key store management.



Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Requires a valid driver's license with no violations in the last 36 months.
  • Must be able to operate a 16' route sales delivery vehicle safely and competently.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, and transport products into accounts using a hand truck or pallet jack and must and set the product on the shelf.

Benefits

PTO is accrued at 1 hour per 40 hours worked.
