Fur Town was created to provide pets with the best grooming experience possible. Our groomers are all Certified Dog and Cat Groomers through our partner, West Coast Grooming Academy, and are trained to the highest standards in the industry. Our facilities are designed to best suit the needs of the pets in our care, in an environment where the best groomers and Instructors can bring our special brand of high-end spa services to our customers. We are looking for a special individual to lead our team so that they can continue providing exemplary customer service, kindness and compassion for pets, and high quality grooming services for many years to come. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Sending in Payroll on time
  • Reaching Sales goals determined by the company
  • Ensuring positive customer reviews
  • Checking and managing schedules
  • Ordering supplies
  • Making sure salon is clean and organized to standard
  • Verify employee tasks are completed
  • Incharge of employee files
  • Send out marketing emails
  • Take pictures for social media and marketing
  • Taking care of interns training and schedules
  • Taking care of all emergencies, pet and human related
  • Knowledgeable of procedures for natural disasters
  • Excellent grooming
  • Instruct grooming classes
  • Reception
  • Weekly meetings
  • Keep all employees within the salon on task and on track
  • Lead and motivate a team of groomers and receptionists to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • Ensure a positive and team-oriented working environment.
  • Assisting Instructors in providing groomers and students with additional education to further their grooming career. This should be in the form of knowledge and skill in dog breed standard cuts, and/or creative grooming, asian fusion, or other advanced dog grooming skills. Cat grooming proficiency is a plus.
  • Manage day to day operations of the salon.
  • Ensuring a safe, organized and efficient salon.
  • Grooming pets and assisting groomers with difficult grooms, as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor groomers, receptionists and new hires.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Communicate essential information with upper management through weekly reports.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Knowledge of wireless sales industry and retail sales strategies.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and competition.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales professional.
  • Effective communication skills with effective feedback delivery with staff and management.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of dog grooming breed standard haircuts.
  • Mentorship and team-oriented mindset, with patience and willingness to teach.
  • Experience with social media, google sheets, docs, drive and calendar preferred.

Director pay will consist of a base salary, quarterly bonuses, and stipends. Quarterly bonus that is 10% of salary that is based off of sales goals reached, reviews being excellent, staying under budget for supplies, incidents and maintenance, staying under payroll budget including vacation, sick time, and fridge benefits, and positive quart key surveys from the current staff. Stipends that range from $150-$1,000 per week and will be given when sales goals are reached.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
