Field Sales Consultant working in a premier US manufacturer representative group specializing in facility supplies and food service disposables.

Must be in Boise, Idaho.

Avision, a division of Forward Solutions and a national sales and marketing firm, is seeking a self-motivated and highly organized sales professional to manage and grow the janitorial and sanitary supply business with end-users and distributors. This role will grow and support sales efforts in Boise, Idaho.

Avision is a manufacturer representative company with advanced and seasoned professional sales, customer support, marketing and inside sales teams. Avision has a local focus that is national in scope, catering to world-class manufacturers in the janitorial and foodservice disposable industries.

The Position:

We are looking for an experienced Field Sales Consultant to grow market share for our manufacturer partners. Develop new business by identifying and pursuing end-user opportunities; initiate, develop, and close sales leads; train distributor sales representatives; make presentations to individuals and groups. Work with established distributor network to support their sales representatives and help them grow our mutual business. Our representatives are ambitious, self-motivated, and driven to succeed.

Essential Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify new sales opportunities
  • Meet/exceed assigned sales and revenue goals
  • Manage sales pipeline and keep track of sales activities in AOS (Company CRM system)
  • Develop sales by creating relationships with key end-users and distributors; present product attributes and explain value; introduce new products and services; and employ strategies that successfully advance the customer through the sales cycle
  • Overcome objections, complete cross references, perform facility audits
  • Develop current distributors by studying their business, working closely with distributor sales reps. Identify and evaluate additional needs while capturing sales with their key end-users.
  • Update job knowledge and expertise by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer partners
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively both internally with management and team members and externally with customers
  • Execute timely and accurate follow up with customers and team members
  • Assist and support existing Field Sales Consultants when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of B2B sales experience preferably selling facility supplies across multiple key vertical markets, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be based in the assigned territory (In this particular case Boise, Idaho).
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a mandatory requirement
  • Regional travel up to 80%
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
  • Know how to prospect and target new sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Negotiate small to large sales opportunities
  • Strong self-directed follow up
  • Possess a robust entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Work well in team environment
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience
  • Self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
