The National Sales Development Manager (NSDM) plays a pivotal role in empowering our national sales & F&I teams to excel in delivering critical performance outcomes. By strategically partnering with our external sales training experts, Sales Specialists, Sales Managers, F&I Managers, General Managers in the field, and National Sales Support, the NSDM will maximize sales effectiveness, drive revenue, elevate customer satisfaction, and exceed profit targets. The Fraserway RV Sales Concierge Process, rooted in our core values, will serve as the cornerstone of all coaching and mentoring, fueling a culture of excellence and unwavering commitment to success.

The National Sales Development Manager (NSDM) will bring vision, inspiration, and mentorship to our Sales Consultants and sales leadership team nationwide, fostering a vibrant, inclusive environment that fuels creativity, morale, and sales growth. Through strengthening the team's capabilities, the NSDM will serve as a proud ambassador for Fraserway RV within the industry and community. With adventure and a love for the outdoors at their core, this leader’s passion will ignite a similar spirit throughout the sales organization. Success in this role will be defined by the collective achievements and growth of the teams they inspire and lead.

Mandate

  • Ensure the Sales Manager, Sales Consultant & F&I teams initiatives are aligned, and the team behaviours support the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
  • Train / coach our Sales Managers to become better leaders & coaches of their sales teams.
  • Support GM’s and Sales Managers in the strengthening of their sales cultures through recruitment, onboarding, mentoring and training.
  • Deliver YOY market share growth as defined by unit sales (Sales/Parts/Services) within territories where Fraserway operates.
  • In partnership with the Vice President - Dealerships & Sales and the National Leadership Team, achieve expected top-line, bottom-line and market-share results in alignment with short and long-term Dealership and overstretching Fraserway RV Business Objectives.
  • Relentless pursuit of excellence in servicing our employees (eNPS) and our customers (cNPS).

Primary Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop a comprehensive, sales strategy focused on growth and retention of new and existing customers, identifying high growth markets and territory specific plans. Support the setting of targets and implantation of agreed plans.
  • Lead and support in Shows and Dealerships 80%-90% of the time
  • Implement sales tools and technologies to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • ATN / training partner point person / liaison

Financial Services Strategy Development:

  • Create programs and training to drive profits, opportunities, and structuring deals in line with our business plans and company values.
  • Enhance relationships with business partners to differentiate FWRV from out competitors. Ensure we have a best-in-class program that supports the Fraserway values and builds lifetime customers.
  • Build annual programs and training that enhance national sales and marketing. Enhance relationships from the Business Office to all other departments by working to ensure a real time resolution to issues. Improving the interactions and processes between sales, business office and service. Promote, train and develop a positive, harmonized, winning relationship with all Sales Managers and sales staff in order to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop incentives for sales people to sell insurance and financing in accordance with dealership policies.

Team Management:

  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the sales and sales management team and Business Office
  • Active part of the onboarding/interviewing process for sales consultants and sales managers
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships between Sales and F&I
  • Design and implement incentive programs to reward high performers and aligning the teams efforts with business goals

Partnerships and Dealer Relationships

  • Strengthen the national sales team culture (Stronger together)
  • Build strong OEM representative relationships to ensure training and Spiff programs are aligned with our values and objectives
  • Expand distribution channels with VP support
  • Recommend lines and floor plans in support of the buying and ranging objectives
  • Keep FW up to date with the latest trends and industry innovations

Market Analysis:

  • Stay on top of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry developments
  • Provides intel from field to Sales support and marketing to drive results and expand channels and customer segments
  • Implement national sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

Sales Operations:

  • Masters our sales process and supports with accountability on sales team execution
  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure
  • Sales process roll-out and accountability for execution of process and training initiatives (takes the pass from ATN)
  • Ensure execution of sales / marketing national promotions at the dealerships, follow-up on promotional playbook
  • Adventure Ambassador program – Charismatically elevates the program in the dealerships
  • Facilitate weekly sales call with Sales Managers, focused on selling opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with key OEM’S to foster customer loyalty and repeat business (Partner with VP sales and Sr. Director – Fleet, Inventory & Procurement)
  • Inspects to ensure high standards of Ready to Sell in dealerships including staging of Inventory
  • Customer experience enhancement through rapid response to concerns and opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing and Purchasing to ensure campaigns are timely and effective.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing programs are fully trained and supported
  • Help build and support the training and development of our Sales Guides and Specialists
  • Analyze trends and the market to insure the right products are ranged at each dealership at the right time

Compliance:

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity within the sales team.
  • Ensures execution of sales boards/KPI tracking and celebrates success of team and dealerships
  • MAS follow-up and execution at dealerships

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Use data to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Monitor sales revenue, margins, and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Assists in the setting of sales targets and monitor the performance of the sales team

Experiences, Skills & Education

  • College Diploma/Certificate
  • Experience in the RV or similar industry is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years successful sales leadership experience within a regional or national commission-based sales, customer service-driven business.
  • Able to see the “big picture” and work with their leadership team in developing strategies and action plans to achieve it.
  • Proven success in growing an organization’s sales volume, market share and profitability.
  • Stays abreast of industry and consumer interests. Good ability to anticipate future industry and consumer trends.
  • Ability to envision opportunities across a business and determine short-medium-long term priorities to seize them.
  • Broad understanding of sales, marketing, operations, risk management, finance, supply chain and talent management.
