Sales Manager and Area Sales Representative- Locations in AB, BC and Saskatchewan
Position Overview: Our Client who is a well-known name in Heavy Equipment, Agriculture products, Construction, Truck and trailer division is seeking dynamic and experienced Sales Managers and Area sales representatives in their locations in AB, BC and Saskatchewan to achieve annual sales targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will be responsible for mentoring and training Area sales representatives, driving product sales, managing financial metrics, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), and fostering strong relationships with both customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of sales representatives to achieve annual sales goals.
- Drive product sales within the assigned area, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage financial metrics including margin growth, sales revenue, and profits.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing necessary strategies for improvement.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales representatives.
- Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to provide guidance, support, and motivation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, including executive-level managers.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels of both new and used products.
Skills Required:
- Proven track record of successful sales management spanning five to ten years.
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant combination of education and industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Experience recruiting, training, and motivating sales teams.
- Clear driver’s record and passport may be required for travel.
Experience Required:
- Five to ten years of industry experience and knowledge.
- Ability to effectively recruit, train, and motivate sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Proven track record of driving sales processes and achieving targets.
