BD Diesel is looking for an experienced Territory Sales Representative who is accountable for broadening our customer base by providing great customer service directly to both wholesale distributors and end use customers. As a sales team member, you will be called upon to develop your territory through good old-fashioned business development by developing contacts and building relationships. As a valuable member of the BD Diesel team, this position contributes to the goal of being an innovative and world-class manufacturer by establishing BD as a leader in customer friendly technology and innovation..

This position reports to the Sales Manager with the daily activities coordinated by the Sales Supervisor and works 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.

As a Territory Sales Representative, your role includes:

  • Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling;
  • Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders;
  • Opening new accounts;
  • Developing customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls;
  • Entering orders into system;
  • Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products;
  • Providing pricing quotations and follow-up on quotes;
  • Provide quotations and product information;
  • Troubleshooting [freight problems, expediting, etc.… ];
  • Responding to inquiries; &
  • Identify, develop and close business opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated Sales & Customer Management will be preferred, vehicle maintenance experience would be an asset
  • 5 years vehicle maintenance experience preferred
  • 2 years customer facing service experience preferred
