Job Description

Individuals will be responsible for soliciting business from new and potential Customers,

accurate and timely completion of sales documentation (orders, change orders, work

orders, DPA, etc.), and providing daily direction to their Inside Sales Support Personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit existing Customers to initiate new sales opportunities and purchase orders for products.
  • Solicit potential Customers to initiate new sales opportunities and purchase orders for products.
  • Liaise with the current customers maintaining positive relationship and responsible for completing and ensuring all the proper paperwork follows any changes, additions, or corrections to the customer orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the personal goals and targets assigned from management are achieved in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for initial order information, ensuring it is correct, completing all the necessary documentation and submitting this in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining price quotes and job bids that ensure the Company sales, profit, and marketing goals are met.
  • Provide customer and market feedback to management, and produce customer and marketing research as required
  • Develop and produce current status as well as projected work reports for management as requested.
  • Provide customer service support in the event of complaints or claims, recording all details and data properly and completing the necessary forms for administration.
  • Other Sales related responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years outside sales experience in the cable and wire industry.
  • Having proven Business Development experience is required.
  • ERP experience preferred.
  • Great people skills for interfacing with the customers and vendors.
  • Good math skills for maintaining quote and order numbers and achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Aggressive self-starter with good knowledge of sales strategies and the local market to grow the business.
  • Great communication and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
