Job Description

We are looking for a skilled salesperson to join our team (can be located anywhere within your sales territory of SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN). We prefer an individual seeking a long-term career and loves being part of a team. We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, self-driven salesperson with at least five years of outside sales experience with direct agricultural experience, specifically grain farming and combine equipment. The person must be organized, efficient, hands-on, and committed to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

As a company sales representative, you will grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities within your territory. In addition, the candidate shall have interpersonal skills to work with a team of diverse backgrounds and should be passionate about learning and acquiring new skills.

Southern Saskatchewan - Davidson South

The ideal candidate:

  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills as well as the ability to develop meaningful relationships with customers and dealers
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have own reliable transportation
  • Having a background in the agriculture industry to understand the functionality of the equipment we build is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customer accounts in your specified territory as well as service existing customers, logging actions in CRM database. Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information received from dealer conferences and trade shows.
  • Develop sales strategies and maintain high productivity levels.
  • Conduct presentation meetings with potential clients as needed; participation and facilitation of participation in customer events (such as customer appreciation events)
  • Represent the company at tradeshows as required.
  • Provide customer/ dealer pricing, availability and input orders as accepted.
  • Identification and pursuit of new sales accounts.
  • Plan and execute sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Training provided for a thorough knowledge of product lines; however, additional direct combine harvester knowledge and experience is an asset.
  • Domestic travel for training and support.
  • Monitor and administrate any warranty, sales support and incentive programs.
  • Display or demonstrate the product, using samples or catalogues and emphasize features.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Starting salary: $50-60,000 plus uncapped commissions; current territories range from $20,000 - $40,000 in commissions. A vehicle allowance is provided, plus expenses are reimbursed.

Requirements:

  • Five years of Outside Sales experience, Agriculture industry experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, keeping the sales team and management apprised as required
  • Professional telephone communication skills and active listening.
  • Must demonstrate exemplary detailed record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Must demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to operate basic Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel, as well as have an aptitude for learning and navigating other software as required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Will be held accountable to performance goals.

Remote workspace must be dedicated workspace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
