Job Description

We are looking for an extremely motivated and high-energy BluCar Lane Manager. This position is demanding and requires someone with strong communication skills. Completing all required tasks accurately and timely with attention to detail is imperative. This role is based in a corporate office setting.

Job Duties:
At all times​

  • Work through Operations Product to have Tech/BPD implement Lot Processing Rules or fix "bugs" in the Copart Select rule set. Fix issues identified manually, but also fix root causes for long-term success.​
  • Report on trends in the lane on a weekly cadence to key stakeholders​
  • Report on the status of in-progress tech initiatives and rule changes​

As units come in​

  • Ensure all units assigned meet CS criteria – enroll and unenroll units accordingly​
  • Adjust lane lights​
  • Adjudicate all manual sale addition requests for Copart Select and Rental Sales​

Pre-sale​

  • QA/QC photos, condition reports, and all lot details​
  • Work with Yard GMs to ensure cars are properly handled, stored, washed​

On sale day​

  • Monitor the sale event​
  • Add highlights, zoom in on drive activity, and add bonus time manually​

Post-sale ​

  • Work with Yard GMs to ensure cars are properly stored and made available for pickup​
  • Send emails on specific seller performance and overall results for Select and Rental sales

Objectives:
Product integrity: 100% of lots listed meet Copart Select criteria: ​

  • Seller type​
  • Automobile type​
  • Title type​
  • Vehicle age, odometer, condition​
  • Presence of BluTLE
  • Condition Report, Sale Light​


Quality assurance: 100% accurate representation of lots​

  • Accuracy, sequencing, completeness of imagery​
  • Condition report/listing consistency​
  • Accuracy of lot details​


Enable Auction Liquidity: Gives us our best chance to maximize ASP per lot auction instance

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven administrative skills with at least 2+ years working experience
  • Previous retail or customer service skills preferred
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
