We are seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Agent II to join our team for a prominent company in the logistics space. In this role, you will be responsible for providing domestic logistics and shipping assistance to our clients while communicating with the carriers. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with vendors to obtain shipping and logistical information
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine procurement needs and specifications
- Create purchase orders and ensure accuracy of order details
- Communicate with customers on order tracking
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building strong relationships with suppliers
- Proficient in data entry and analysis to track purchasing trends and make informed decisions
- Experience with outbound calling for supplier inquiries or follow-ups
- Knowledge of phone etiquette when communicating with suppliers
