Electro Sonic, a Master Electronics Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a bilingual Inside Sales Representative – that will report to Sales Managers in Vancouver and Montreal. This position will remote, with home office ideally in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Electro Sonic has been supplying top quality components for industrial, medical, military, transportation, utilities, aerospace and consumer applications. Electro Sonic is franchised for over 400 suppliers and stocks over 400,000 unique parts, including world-class brands such as TE Connectivity, Honeywell, ebm-papst, Sensata, Omron Electronics, Panasonic, Meanwell, Microchip, TDK-Lambda, and numerous other key manufacturers.

We’re seeking a bilingual candidate who is excited about the opportunity to make our customers highly successful and reap the rewards for their extraordinary efforts, a hunter of business! This position focuses on fostering strong business relationships with regular accounts as well as identifying and developing new clients. You and the Sales Managers will collaborate to create and implement targeted sales strategies to increase ways that our customers can benefit from Electro Sonic’s service and product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

· Focus will be in the Quebec, Maritimes, and western Canada regions.

· Develop and manage strong business relationships with customers by providing exemplary service and support

· Consultatively sell products and services, provide alternative product/service solutions to exceed customer expectations, prepare quotes, follow up on orders, and solve client-related problems

· Routinely identify new opportunities to market and promote Electro Sonic to the customer as the distributor of choice

· Meet and/or exceed assigned sales & revenue targets

· Partner with internal resources (e.g. sales team, engineering, quality, product management, etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g., reps, supplier marketing, manufacturing facilities, etc.), to leverage best-in-class outcomes for your customers

· Manage client expectations during the sales process with the ultimate goal of creating an outstanding experience!

· Outbound calling activity to customers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Must be fluently bilingual (French and English), spoken and written.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm CST

· One to two years of prior job-related sales or related field with a proven track record of consistent revenue growth;

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office, with focus on demonstrated working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook

· Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal

· Demonstrated customer service and account service

· Highly effective telesales skills, including professional demeanor, artful negotiation skills, and outstanding phone etiquette

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and, in particular, the ability to craft professional e-mails and client-related documents

· Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· 1-2 years sales experience in a bilingual environment.

· Sales career experience with pre-assigned quota targets

· CRM knowledge and experience

· Experience in electronics/electrical industry is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,960.17-$55,000.00 per year
