Job Description - The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role

in driving the growth of our business in Canada. This position focuses on

the full sales cycle, with a primary emphasis on identifying and securing new

business opportunities. In addition to generating new leads, the role will

involve supporting existing accounts and fostering relationships with key

stakeholders.

Responsibilities

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction,

engineering, and architecture sectors.

  • Develop and implement strategies to reach potential clients through

cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment

with company goals and client needs.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of our BIM solutions.

Account Management:

  • Support existing clients by understanding their ongoing needs and

providing solutions that enhance their BIM capabilities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to

ensure long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Address any client concerns or issues promptly and collaborate with internal teams to provide effective solutions.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the VP North Ameria and other Business Development

Managers to develop and refine sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential

opportunities and threats.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the Canadian team.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with internal teams to leverage inbound leads and develop targeted campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the company’s CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates on sales progress, pipeline status, and market insights to the VP North America

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Personal Attributes):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the construction, engineering, or architecture industries.
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business and managing client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM technologies and their application in the construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry
  • events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
