Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced***Patient Account Representative***
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical office required.
Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of a Patient Account Representative:
Accurately and efficiently post office and hospital charges into the IDX system. Follow department procedures and policies for consistency and completeness of charge capture processes and reimbursements. Update patient registration, verify insurance information, and obtain authorizations for charge capture. Responds to and interacts professionally with requests from providers and management. Communicates all charge-related issues to the designated area for correction. Identify charge issues/opportunities and works with the department to make recommendations, resolve issues and enhance charge capture and compliance.
Requirements for the Patient Account Representative:
- Required: 1 year paid experience working in a Medical Office
- Required: COVID vaccination or medical waiver
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Required: Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Preferred: Knowledge of medical billing, EMR and HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Preferred: Medical applications software experience preferred
- $16.00-$19.50 an hour (depending on experience level)

- OFF WEEKENDS FOR THIS POSITION!
