After years of record growth and validation of our key differentiators, we are looking to further expand the business and take it to the next level. We are actively looking to add Senior Sales Representatives to help us identify qualified customers that would benefit from our services as we continue to diversify our portfolio into large corporations and government entities. This is a 100% remote position with travel as needed.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possessing a true “hunter’s” mentality in going after new government accounts at the state/county/city level as well as private sector accounts. Candidate will have a proven track record of success and at least 3 years’ experience in business development within the staffing industry. This individual will have the ability to showcase HSP’s capabilities, benefits, and value proposition in all interactions to generate leads and meetings by leveraging our current relationships. The ideal candidate should be passionate, have an interest in learning the staffing business and must be able to work independently, influence key stakeholders, and drive HSPs growth imperatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying new potential clients through research, referrals, or networking.
- Initiating client contact via phone calls, emails, social media, video or in-person visits.
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
- Presenting the features and benefits of services to potential customers through effective sales presentations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging existing networks and forging new connections to drive business growth.
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation, ensuring a seamless customer experience and maximizing revenue potential.
- Understanding customer needs and tailoring solutions to meet those needs.
- High level negotiation and closing skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, anticipate customer needs, and refine our value proposition.
- Initiate the process of identifying and enrolling our company in Supplier Programs
- Follow-up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process and set introductory meetings or identify the process to become a supplier to new client accounts.
- Leverage your prior relationships to engage qualified clients through adopted and proven successful sales techniques
- Leverage the necessary technical and industry knowledge required to establish credibility with client contacts at multiple levels
- Ability to strike conversation and build rapport with clients to develop and manage sales opportunities
- Document daily sales activity and progress in the CRM tool as required by the Leadership Team
- Meet required sales activity metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven track record of success in business development in temporary staffing services to the public and private sector
- Minimum of 3 years of staffing sales experience. 5 Years preferred
- Experience selling to public health, mental health, nursing and allied health in the public sector
- Selling into these key segments: Public Health, Health Services, Corrections, Veterans Administration (VA)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a keen ability to articulate complex concepts and influence decision-makers
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving initiatives forward in a dynamic and competitive environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A demonstrated commitment to teamwork and accountability.
- Ability to forecast sales and manage sales pipeline effectively
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Track record of success establishing and maintaining client relationships
- Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events.
Compensation:
$75,000 base salary per year plus bonuses and commissions based on hitting key metrics tied to lead generation and new account acquisition. OTE- $125K+
