This position will have the opportunity to contribute to a team of Smart Water professionals dedicated to promoting water conservation, network intelligence and an end-to-end ecosystem of proactive solutions across the full water cycle. Your expertise in Non-Revenue Water (NRW) applications and related solutions will provide valuable contributions to our team as we all strive to build water resilient communities.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and target potential clients in the water industry for non-revenue water solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including water utilities, municipalities, and government agencies
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs related to non-revenue water reduction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize and present proposals, demonstrating the value proposition of the Ferguson One Municipal team
  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and collaborating with internal teams to close deals
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, including but not limited to: project management, technical assistance, troubleshooting and field support
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and technologies related to non-revenue water management
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, case studies, and other collateral to support sales efforts
  • Act as a Subject-Matter expert (SME) related to potable water applications and solutions both internally and externally
  • Promote solutions and customer successes on social media platforms regularly

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience related to water technology solutions
  • Experience with deploying Non-Revenue Water programs and associated technologies to solve water loss
  • Experienced in contract and customer negotiations
  • Skilled in presentation for proposals and industry conferences
  • Willingness to travel as appropriate (+/- 30% on average)
  • Pipeline management experience (Salesforce CRM experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well organized, good time management, self-starter
  • Microsoft 365 experience

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$6,374.70 - $13,933.70

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
