Job Description
Position Purpose: In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing key customer relationships as well as finding new opportunities. This position collaborates with all departments across the organization to ensure all customer requests are fulfilled. Experience in the transportation and/or oilfield industries based within the Texas and Louisiana communities is a must. To excel in this role, you should be a proven hunter and have a compelling sales personality with the hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls to inbound warm leads. This individual should be someone who can think strategically assisting in the ability to drive sustainable financial growth through the boosting of sales and forging a strong relationship with clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Primary duties include but not limited to the following:
· Building strong client relationships to maintain existing business and acquire new customers.
· Manage a regionalized Business Development team.
· Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities in target markets.
· Strong understanding of UVL’s services as well as competition to keep business competitive.
· Engage in the full sales cycle from initial contact, to discovery, to rate quoting, to systemic set up and ongoing follow up to develop a book of business.
· Understand customer relationship complexity and risk.
· Participate in the development of new project proposals.
· Establish and implement short and long-range goals and objectives with the help of VP of Sales.
· Ensure achievement of KPI’s and annual budget.
· Attending conferences and industry events.
· Develop and deliver sales presentations and other collateral material to key clients.
· Will be required to utilize a CRM system.
Qualifications/Experience:
· Proven track record of sales, logistics, and/or oil and gas experience.
· Time management skills and self-motivated.
· Leadership, management, and mentoring skills.
· Must be willing to travel regularly.
· Professional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
· College graduate.
· Must live in greater Lafayette, LA area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
