We are currently looking for a skilled Assistant QA Manager who will be reporting to the Quality Manager and support operations to successfully ensure the highest quality and food safety standards are adhered to and to effectively advance the company’s process and operational capabilities for our customers.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for implementing as well as maintaining Quality Assurance process;
- Responsible for day-to-day Quality Assurance Operations Management;
- Analysing Quality Assurance data as well as its reporting;
- Responsible for Internal Quality Audit and self-assessment;
- Responsible for creating Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) management;
- Maintaining continuous document control and record keeping;
- Conducting Quality Assurance Training and awareness;
- Supporting Supplier Quality Management;
- Ensuring that quality procedures, management directives and quality improvement projects are supported and followed, and
- Assume duties of a QA Manager when support is required in the department.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Technology or Engineering or related Science field (including Chemical engineering, Microbiology, Biology, or Biotechnology);
- Minimum of five (5) years of QA Supervisor role in food processing, or related industry laboratory;
- Certification/Training (HACCP, GFSI, Lead Auditing, etc.);
- Lead Auditor’s Certificate in Quality or Food Safety Management System;
- Excellent written and oral communication, with good presentation skills;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; and
- ERP experience, programming experience, technology savvy an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
