The Sales Compensation and Incentive Analyst is responsible for the execution and administration of our compensation, sales incentive plans. Investigating commission related inquiries. The successful candidate will leverage analytical skills, customer service, and business acumen in the delivery of compensation payments. The role has a heavy emphasis on supporting the administration and payout calculations of our sales incentive plans, but it is an opportunity to work with many cross-functional teams from Sales, Sales Operations, People & Culture, Business Intelligence & Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the Global Variable Compensation Sales Incentives payout administration and calculations
  • Build, maintain and make recommendation to optimize sales incentive calculated model
  • Assist with SOTI Sales Incentives automation initiatives
  • Assist with validating and reconciling data from multiple sources to ensure payout accuracy
  • Implement proactive solutions and identify new processes to improve calculations accuracy and data integrity
  • Participate in the payout review process with Sales Leaders and Finance
  • Assist with monthly sales incentives accruals
  • Liaise with the Business Intelligence team on generation of various sales compensation reports, system fixes and data updates
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and BI to understand and resolve compensation issues
  • Investigation, documentation and resolution of incentive payment queries
  • Partner with People & Culture to manage VSCP profile updates in Workday
  • Audit VSCP plans acceptance, ensure noncompliance participants are flagged for review prior to payout
  • Create and update process documentation on Sales Compensation workflows
  • Support sales compensation team with ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
Experience You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree/college diploma in Business Administration, Finance or another analytical discipline.
  • 2-3 years related experience with sales compensation administration
  • Expertise using Excel to analyze large data sets (i.e. advanced formulas building, creating macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
  • Strong communication skills to explain sales compensation to all levels of the organization from front line employees to the executive leadership team
  • Familiar with Salesforce and Power BI is an asset
  • Experience in the SaaS B2B industry is an asset.
