Rapid Die Cut is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inbound Sales Representative to manage incoming inquiries, process orders, and convert quotes into sales. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, from order entry and managing lead times to customer engagement and follow-ups. You will work closely with internal teams, including engineers, to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing sales opportunities.

Rapid Die Cut is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inbound Sales Representative to manage incoming inquiries, process orders, and convert quotes into sales. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, from order entry and managing lead times to customer engagement and follow-ups. You will work closely with internal teams, including engineers, to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Entry:
Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all specifications are captured, and manage any necessary changes or updates. - Maintain Promised Lead-Times:
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled within the promised delivery times and communicate updates to customers as needed. - Inbound Requests Management:
- Funnel incoming online and phone requests to the appropriate departments, ensuring each inquiry is addressed promptly.
- Handle inbound customer chat inquiries, answering questions and providing guidance on product offerings and services.
- Sample Material Requests:
Process and forward customer requests for sample materials to the materials department, following up to ensure timely fulfillment. - Quote Management:
- Call on inbound quote requests, pushing quotes through the sales funnel to convert them into orders.
- Make adjustments to quotes as needed, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Customer Engagement & Follow-Up:
- Engage with customers after order receipt to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.
- Make outbound calls to follow up on orders and quotes, aiming to close sales and build ongoing partnerships.
- Request referrals and identify potential new leads through satisfied customers.
- Sales & Customer Support:
- Address inbound sales questions via phone, email, or chat, offering solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Leverage internal engineers and departments to resolve any technical issues or complex requests, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Sales/Customer Service Experience:
2+ years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing, B2B, or technical environment. - Excellent Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with customers and internal teams. - Detail-Oriented:
Demonstrated ability to accurately process orders, handle multiple customer inquiries, and manage complex information. - Customer-Centric Approach:
Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction, build relationships, and anticipate customer needs to drive sales. - Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up on inquiries and quotes, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable using CRM systems, order entry platforms, and communication tools. Basic knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus
