Sales Representative - OEM Products
Since 1986, Continental Fan has been successfully providing air moving solutions and ventilation products for industrial, commercial and residential applications throughout North America. We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Representative in a full time, permanent position at our Dayton, Ohio facility. The successful candidate’s prime responsibility will be to manage and grow an existing network of sales representatives catering to wholesale distributors in the USA. General Requirements:
- BS degree (Engineering degree preferred) with 3-5 years in sales progressing towards a sales management role preferably with HVAC experience.
- Entrepreneurial flair; motivated; an outgoing personality; creative thinker
- Persistent and proficient follow-up skills
- Knowledge of HVAC engineering, system design, products and services
- Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques; problem solving skills
- Ability to travel
Business Development & Marketing
- Develop new customers and markets by seeking and identifying opportunities
- Recommend and help develop advertising and marketing programs;
- Implement marketing strategies, evaluate effectiveness and analyze results.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasting unit sales and gross profit;
- Monitor supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Sales Management
- Establish sales and profit targets for new and existing customers;
- Recommend new product development and product improvements, as required;
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling prices by keeping abreast of market trends
- Convey product forecasts to Purchasing to ensure an adequate and uninterrupted supply
- Develop and maintain sales call cycles within sales territories
- Establish sales objectives and annual sales quotas for sales territories; monitor results
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
