DEPCOM Power is looking for an Operations Center Manager to join the team in the Scottsdale, AZ office. The Operations Center Manager will have experience in leading an advanced operations center, in electrical power generation, operations with high voltage and knowledge related to regulatory compliance (NERC, ISO, etc.). Have extensive knowledge in electrical generation asset management, warranty, SCADA control systems and maintenance. They will also show the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

What You Will Do
- Adhere to all safety requirements and demonstrate safety awareness.
- Take charge and inspire a dynamic team of operators, driving success and innovation together.
- Ensure Operations Center and sites maintain NERC compliance requirements.
- Extensive collaboration with transmission operators, balancing authorities, utilities and maintenance personnel to implement scheduled maintenance plans and to restore generation following unexpected disruptions in normal operations.
- Manage fleet voltage schedules and generation forecasting to maintain compliance with PPA and EPC agreements.
- Exhibit knowledge of AC electrical generation and high voltage transmission processes.
- Manage multiple project tasks including resources, vendors, schedule, operations and turnover deliverables
- Manager OEM Warranty review, warranty submissions, warranty tracker, and manufacturer warranty compliance.
- Partner with commercial and operations teams to review O&M contracts and provide feedback.
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual operational reporting for plant fleet.
- Provide and coordinate training for new Operations staff
- Collect data and generate reports along with reviewing third-party test results.
- Monitor and adjust SCADA and Plant Control System software.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in electrical power generation and operations with high voltage
- Experience analyzing equipment performance and identifying performance issues
- Understanding of electronic power system protection equipment purpose/behavior
- Knowledge of power system dynamics for predicting grid impact during control actions
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Previous Leadership experience
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems
- Knowledge of NERC requirements for GO's and GOP's
- Knowledge of solar plant operations and maintenance practices
