Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to grow our presence in the rental services industry. This role focuses on providing portable restrooms, lighting towers, and generators to diverse industries, including construction, events, agriculture, and disaster relief. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a keen understanding of the unique needs of these industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Outreach: Identify and engage potential clients across construction, events, agriculture, and disaster relief sectors through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to foster trust and secure repeat business.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Assess client needs on-site or through consultations, recommending tailored solutions that include portable restrooms, generators, and lighting towers.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product and service demonstrations, showcasing how offerings align with the client’s operational requirements.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver competitive quotes and proposals tailored to meet client timelines, budgets, and project demands.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to position the company as a preferred provider.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
- CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities in a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years in outside sales, preferably in the construction, events, agriculture, or rental services industries.
- Experience with portable restrooms, generators, or lighting towers is a strong advantage.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Skills:
- Bilingual/Spanish-Preferred/Not Required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close sales effectively.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with the construction and agriculture industries is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
